There is an appealing story to the Cambodia casinos that lie just over the border from next door Thailand, where gambling hall betting is prohibited. Eight gambling dens are anchored in a generally tiny area in the municipality of Poipet in Cambodia. The initial Cambodia gambling halls premiered in Phnom Penh in 1994, but were required to close in 1998, leaving just one gambling den in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an all-inclusive vacation and hotel complex that highlights numerous comforts aside from the gambling den, which offers 10,000 sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty slot machine games and eighty eight gaming tables.
