Do Not Drink … Gamble!

If you enjoy a cocktail occasionally, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all cash, charge cards and cheques back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you intend to use on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to squander and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You could have a win after a drunken night out with your friends and be blessed enough to catch a marathon roll at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and gamble. The pair just do not mix.

Leaving your money back at the hotel is a little bit dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic actions is a requirement. If you wager to win, then don’t drink and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the complimentary booze you are able to handle, but don’t pack credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed head throws away everything!

Let me to carry this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then go online to bet in your preferred casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my apartment, but because I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can not drink and gamble.

How come? Even though I don’t drink alcohol a lot, once I drink, it’s definitely sufficient to befuddle my common sense. I wager, so I do not drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both create an awful, and costly, drink.
